But once a year, on the first Saturday in May, Vault of Midnight joins forces with local comic shops worldwide to offer free comic books to the masses. We aim to spread the word about everything the comic book medium has to offer by sharing our favorite titles in an approachable and risk-free way!

Free Comic Book Day merriment will literally be spilling out our front door and into the streets with a sidewalk festival from 10a-3p. Prepare your mind and body for free comics, trivia, games, face painting, crafts, cosplay, and PRIZES!

Plus, doodle on our Great Draw Wall with local artist Cara McGee. Cara's exquisite illustrations can be found in the pages of Over the Garden Wall, Dodge City, Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Lumberjanes, and more! Cara will be signing, doodling, and selling her work from 10-3!
