The 2018 National Free Comic Book Day is happening throughout the US including DragonVine at Pioneer Plaza of Springfield for Eugene & Springfield on the first Saturday of May 5th, starting 10 a.m with our special guest, Bob Hall doing signings. To remind people of the power and the fun of comics, comic book stores, such as DragonVine, will be giving out comics to 30 plus different titles for free. People are reading less, so we’re trying to get people reading again with great stories told by talented writers and artists. Thanks to Little Caesar's we will also be having free pizza starting at 11 am.

Bob Hall is an American comics artist and writer as well as a playwright & theatre director. He is the co-creator of the West Coast Avengers for Marvel Comics and has worked on such series as Armed & Dangerous and Shadowman. He also was a part of Batman, Amazing Spider-man, Avengers, Defenders, House of Mystery, Champions, and so much more.
