Ok, so not so much an event as a quick heads up. Park on the side streets as needed. I'm still trying to get in touch with the church to see if we can use their parking lot so hopefully that's a go again. There is also the park across the street that has some spots.

FCBD Food Drive
Saturday, May 3, 2025
9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Two free comics per person with over 100 titles to choose from. We may limit copies later in the day as supply runs low, so get here early for the best selection. Please note that we do this in conjunction with a food drive and ask that everyone bring canned/boxed food donations for the event. The first 2 comics are free, and you get 1 additional book for each item donated. Ton of bonus items and additional freebies for additional canned food donations. No Ramen noodles, the food shelf is stacked to the brim with them and I shouldn’t have to say this but no expired items. Bonus! Free pack of Topps cards instead of comics. We will do a separate sports food drive later in the year but we will incorporate sports into this event as well.
Storewide Sale
Saturday, May 3, 2025
9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
The discount is up to you as we are once again giving store credit for your canned food items. Bring in five cans get $5 off, ten cans get you $10 off. Cans cannot be more than half the cost of your total purchase and cannot be applied to sealed boxes. Please note all cards in the showcase and binders will not be for sale today, unfortunately we had quite a bit of theft last year and we need to minimize it for this year.
We also reserve the right to limit the number of cans traded in for store credit. We bought back over $8000 in canned/boxed items last year. I donate as much as I can but keep in mind that I’m a small family shop.
I’m a firm believer that you must give back to the community that you are a part of, that you’re put on this planet to do some good. I love that so many neighbors participate in this event and feel the same way that I do. I also appreciate all the time and effort my friends and family give to help make this day run smoothly and hope everyone has some fun today.
