What would happen if a Marine met a Stormtrooper?

This happened at Comic Con Okinawa, where comic heroes came overseas for comic con fun. The Marine Corps held their own version of Free Comic Book Day, drawing over 5,000 participants for an all-day action packed event.  This event provided the comic con experience to those overseas in Okinawa, Japan who cannot attend comic con on the stateside.

Free Comic Book Day donated over 2,000 free comic books to be given out to comic book enthusiasts. All attendees could find something age appropriate and fun in which they can participate. There were many activities, such as a craft table for kids, zombie make-up for adults, face-painting, gaming tournaments, family costume contests, and much more.

With the great success of Comic Con 2013, the 2014 event will be moved to a larger facility with the expectation of drawing even more participants to the world of comics.
