FCBD Interview with Entropy creators Davor Radoja and Well-Bee

FCBD: For those who might be new to your comic book, give a quick rundown. What can we expect to see in terms of story and art?

Well-Bee (WB): "This is a preview of the first graphic novel from the upcoming four part series Entropy and introduction to our (nearby or almost present) future in which there are clearly drawn lines between the classes of people, cities and countries."

Davor Radoja (DR): "You can expect a beautifully drawn love story, set in the dystopian future with the totalitarian regime in power."

FCBD: What has been your favorite part of book or character to tackle?

WB: "The first part is rich in variety of locations, so the characters also look different or stand out from their surroundings. I don't really want to choose any particular part of the story because each one carries its own share of action and emotion, and it all comes together in the end.

DR: "My favorite part is the development of the relationship between the two main characters".

FCBD: Tell FCBD fans why they should pick your book first on Free Comic Book Day!

WB: "Entropy is a measure of disorganization of a system... If you feel crowded and you’ve always wished to change your surrounding or yourself, this story can be your 'know-how' in demonstrating you just how the courage and persistence bring results in the end. "

DR: "Because for the first time ever they will have the opportunity to witness the stunning artwork from young artist (Well-Bee) for whom the sky is the limit!"

FCBD: What other titles would you associated with your FCBD book? “If a comic reader likes _______ , they should pick up my title"?

WB: "I see it as a combination of cyberpunk action in Orwell's 1984."

DR: "I really can't think of any other comic book/graphic novel that I could compare to Entropy."

FCBD: What’s your favorite part about working in comics?

WB: "My favorite part is really the whole work on a comic book. From the early sketches and scribbles, to inking and coloring, to the ability to set the scene and camera how I want to and insert the elements in the scene and give them purpose. For example, I could give wings to a squirrel, put it in the Gotham City on top of a building and make you all think it's Batman. That just may be the most fun part. :)

DR: "My favorite part of the work on comics is creating new stories and new worlds."

FCBD: Many newcomers will pick up comics for the first time on FCBD—what was the first comic you remember reading?

WB: "Probably Prince Valiant or The Nutcracker (comic)"

DR: "The first comic book I've read is Zagor. Not known in the USA, but the cult comic series in Europe."

FCBD: Looking to the future of the book, is there anything you can tease about what's upcoming?

WB: The writer of Entropy, Davor Radoja probably has a better answer to this question. :)

DR: "I'm sorry I can't tell you anything without spoiling the story. You'll just have to wait for Epicenter Comics to publish it. :)"

FCBD: Tell us why everyone should read comic books?

WB: "Because comics are imaginative, fun, and they can also be educational, but most of all because you may find the best and most inspirational stories in the comic books.”

DR: "Because they are fun, interesting and often educational."
