Rick and Morty Drops Season 3 Premiere Out of Nowhere

It's time for Rick and Morty fans to rejoice, as the series is finally back! Stunning fans in what was assumed to be an April Fool's joke, Adult Swim aired the premiere of season 3 after months of delays and tension between co-creator Dan Harmon and fans eagerly waiting for the premiere. Harmon and Adult Swim launched a livestream of the episode, rerunning it again and again on Adult Swim's website.

The episode is no longer available to be steamed over the website and there's no indication on when the next episode will be available. It's no surprise that fans would expect a prank, considering the history Harmon has had with the audience. Rick and Morty fans have experienced these kinds of hijinks before, when, in February, Adult Swim released a "teaser" of the third season that turned out to be nothing but a Rickrolling video.
